《Pocket Guide to Freshwater Species of Hong Kong》 is a collaborative project, working with various institutions, conservation organizations and local ecologists to create an informative and dynamic educational resource for the public to learn and appreciate our incredible freshwater biodiversity.
We compiled 138 common and threatened freshwater-dwelling species in Hong Kong to promote the education and appreciation of freshwater biodiversity in Hong Kong. It was a major volunteer-based collaboration with: The University of Hong Kong, Lingnan University, Wildlife Avengers, HKdragonfly, Outdoor Wildlife Learning Hong Kong, as well as many indepedent ecologists, naturalists and wildlife photographers.
